Beginners’ Woodwork Day

2 x Sessions

Session 1
9.00am to 12.30pm – Frames (Brood & Super boxes), Roofs & floors – 14 places

Session 2
1.00pm to 4.30pm – Drop-in workshop for Poly hive users – Frame making only, allow 1hr attendance.

For those of you who will be buying wooden hives we’ll be giving demonstrations in small groups in the assembly techniques of typical Wooden hive kit parts including Super and Brood frames, Super and Brood boxes and typical Roof assemblies using readily available tools, nails, screws, and adhesives. All assembled to provide a high standard of finish, strength, and squareness. We will continue with guided and supervised group sessions for group and individual participation in the assembly of typical hive components.
